SEED HEALTH Daily Synbiotic #ad #accountable

This is a sponsored post, I have received compensation for it, however, all thoughts and opinions are my own.

I have had the opportunity to try out Seed's Daily Synbiotic for the last two months, and I have to say, I am a fan.  My digestion has become more regular, even though it is not meant to treat or prevent disease, I do recommend it, based on my experience.
The initial, first month supply.

The photo above shows how your first month supply arrives.  You get the pills in the larger glass bottle and a smaller glass travel bottle, so you can always have your daily doses available, no matter where you are.

I have been hearing about how great probiotics and probiotics are, for years.  But, I never really understood the difference between the claims.  Before allowing me to partner with them, I had to go through Seed University, and take a test to confirm I am a certified accountable partner.

There are so many great things about Seed, let's talk about a few.  First, The formulation combines a probiotic and prebiotic-this gives you what you need in one dose.  The pills are vegan and gluten-free.  Since I am plant based, this is very important to me.  It also includes 24 clinically-studied, naturally-occurring strains, not found in yogurt or fermented foods and beverages, and lives up to the highest standards for human and planetary health.  Aside from all of those awesome facts, we have their dedication to sustainability.  Each refill comes in a compostable, environmentally friendly package.
This is the refill pack.

It is very easy to get wrapped up in the claims of various companies telling you that what they are selling will work miracles,  I go by a rule of thumb, if it seems too good to be true, it probably is.  How often do you see a company that requires the people they partner with to actually learn the science behind the products they are supporting?  Not only that, but every person that Seed partners with has to successfully pass the final exam, in order to become an expert.

What I found surprising, is that many of the claims we have been hearing for years, about what contains probiotics, really do not.   Things like yogurt, kombucha, and other fermented foods.  Also, probiotics can improve your entire body health, not just your digestion health.

Intrigued?  I encourage you to find Seed on Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook to learn more about their amazing studies and products.

I am considering letting my teenage son try the Daily Synbiotic for a month (to start) to see what benefits he finds once done.  There is just something about supporting a company that is scientifically based, striving to make a positive impact on our bodies and our environment.

What benefits do you hope to get from your first month of Seed?  If you use the code ALISSON15, you can save 15% off of your first month subscription of the Daily Synbiotic!  There really is no reason to not try these cutting-edge probiotics.

New Way of Eating

Hi. I've decided to start up on my blog again. It's been way too long & what better time to re-commit myself to this, than now. Right?

I've been on and off Keto for the last several years and was able to drop around 15 pounds, I got below 200 punds, which was really exciting! But, once the pandemic rear up, I used it as an excuse to fall off the keto wagon-hard. I've been struggling since then to get back.

Fast forward to the beginning of July. My husband, off handedly, said he didn't think I could to Raw Vegan. I said, I'll do it for a week; and I did. That turned into me doing some strange combonation of Vegan/Vegetarian. When I "research" a new diet or way of eating I obsessively watch YouTube videos about that particular subject. All three (raw vegan, vegetarian, starch solution) are closely related.

I'm not sure how I arrived at the starch solution, but I'm glad I did. As far as I understand you eat whole foods and are vegan, but also oil free. You are to basically eat starchy veggies and cruciferous veggies at each meal. That is what it is, in the simplest form.

So, I am fumbling my way through with the help of Dr. McDougall's The Starch Solution and YouTubers. I am back over 200 pounds again, but I think once I get a handle on this way of eating, I will easily get under that.

This is my dinner for the evening.  I found this bowl on Amazon.  I looked for a dish that was split in half because I need to have half starchy veggies and half cruciferous veggies.

I'm going to try and be consistent with this, and am considering doing some YouTube videos.  What do you think?

The Christmas Chronicles--Now Streaming on Netflix!

The Christmas Chronicles is a wishful, hilarious, family festive adventure. This is our first live action family film with a well established director and big profile actor in Kurt Russell. From producer Chris Columbus (“Home Alone”, "Harry Potter") and director Clay Kaytis ("The Angry Birds Movie"), The Christmas Chronicles, tells the story of sister and brother, Kate (Darby Camp) and Teddy Pierce (Judah Lewis), whose Christmas Eve plan to catch Santa Claus (Kurt Russell) on camera turns into an unexpected journey that most kids could only dream about. After staking out Santa’s arrival, they sneak into his sleigh, cause it to crash and nearly derail Christmas. As their wild night unfolds, Kate and Teddy work together with Santa - as you've never seen him before - and his loyal Elves to save Christmas before it's too late.

I was able to preview The Christmas Chronicles a few days early.  It was really great!  There is a great surprise at the end, that I won't ruin, cause no spoilers on my blog!  The acting is wonderful and the holiday message is touching.  I encourage you to watch it with your whole family during the holiday season!
