This Dr. Cool Insect Excavation Kit was a hit with my 9 and 6 year old. I had them take turns trying to dig out the three different bugs encased it the bigger "bug." The kit comes with everything you need to do a buggy dig.

My kids really enjoyed alternating the dig process. When they found a bug they kept digging until they got it out.

Along with the bug dig and tools you also get an Adventure Guide that gives you information about the bugs that you have dug out and an Activity Booklet with crosswords, word searches and more! This is really a great learning tool! Plus, it came in really handy for us right now because my kids have been out of school due to snow and ice. You really can't beat an educational activity like this when you are stuck in the house!
