Dr. Jacobs Naturals Product Review

I recently received a few of Dr. Jacobs Naturals products for review.  I had never heard of them before, but am really impressed with the quality of the items.  Their products are all natural, free from harsh chemicals, and safe enough to use on pets.

The first thing I took out of the box was a Castile Bar Soap in Luscious Lavender.  Lavender is my favorite scent, but it is very difficult to find products that actually smell like real lavender flowers.  Well, this Dr. Jacobs Castile Soap does! It smells just like the lavender that I grow in my garden.  It feels and smells great when using it and rinses off cleanly without any residue.

The second thing I removed from the box was the Dr. Jacobs Naturals Castile Liquid Soap in Eucalyptus.  The one I received came in a pump, making it perfect for a hand soap and face wash on our bathroom sink.  I think it smells a bit like tea tree oil, but only lightly; I find it a pleasant scent.  My son has a habit of still having soap suds around his wrists when he is done washing his hands, I haven't noticed that with this soap.  It rinses off cleanly and is gentle enough to use on our face at bedtime too.

The final item that I took out of the box was the Dr. Jacobs Naturals Castile Liquid Soap in Almond Honey.  It smells like candy or cookies! It would be a great winter scent.  It also, just like the other two rinses off well, without residue left behind.

There is an offer for free shipping with a $20 purchase on their site with code FREESHIP20, check it out now; they have some wonderful products!

Mosquito Repellent Bracelet Product Review

I know it's not quite mosquito season yet, a benefit of the crazy cooler weather we have been having lately.  But, I received these Mosquito Repellent Bracelets to review and my deadline is about up.  So, even though I can't tell you how well they work I can give you some information about them.

These bracelets are all-natural! They contain Geraniol Oil, Lemongrass Oil, and Citronella Oil (that's it!)  They smell like the oils that are in it, I really like the scent.

The bracelet fits multiple sized wrists.  I can wear it and so can my 6 year old.  Plus you can wear it as an anklet!

I really can't wait to try these bracelets when the mosquitos are out in their full terror.  They get really bad where I live and I really dislike the chemical sprays and lotions.  As I said in my last post I am trying to cut down on the bad chemicals I expose my family to.

You really can't go wrong with these because the bracelets come with a "no questions asked, money back guarantee."  They are available on Amazon.

Vanilla Mint Deodorant Creme Review + Giveaway #LoveYourBody

Unhealthy chemicals are everywhere now-a-days.  In our food, beauty products, and personal hygiene items.  I have been trying to find ways to cut down on my family's chemical intake so we can live healthier lives.  A task that is fairly challenging.

The idea of chemical free deodorant intrigued me and made me nervous at the same time.  Deodorants generally sold in stores have chemicals that have been linked to breast cancer and alzheimer's.  I desperately want to be completely chemical free, but deodorant is serious business!  I have recently rejoined the workforce, you know, outside of my home.  I have been putting off even trying the natural deodorant because I'm afraid of stinking.  When I got the chance to test and review the Bella Organics Vanilla Mint Deodorant Creme I took it!  Since we have been having more chilly days than warm ones recently it made me feel a bit more confident to try it.

I received a small jar of the Deodorant Creme, it smells great!  The package also came with a little informative instruction sheet.  I learned a lot from that sheet of paper.  For example, it is recommended that you exfoliate your arm pits!  Why?  Well, apparently your pits go through a detoxing period which is helped along by the exfoliating. The detoxing process is said to take anywhere from 4-15 days.   I used a salt scrub for my exfoliating, but you can use a loofa or dry brush.

I don't particularly like putting deodorant on with my fingers, but it wasn't greasy and came off easily after application.  In my opinion the Bella Organics Natural Deodorant works well.  I didn't think I smelled bad at all and I kept sniffing myself (I'm not ashamed.)  They offer other scents as well as the Vanilla Mint.  If you are new to chemical free deodorant, or have been using it, I would recommend giving this brand a try!  Plus you have the chance to win one now!  Enter the giveaway below!

Valentia's Even Glow Serum Product Review

I was recently asked to do a review of Valentia Even Glow Serum.  I had never used anything like it.  I'm generally a low maintenance face care kind of person.  I found this product intriguing because it is 98% natural and contains 20% Vitamin C.

When I first tried the Valentia Even Glow Serum I was struck by the scent.  It is very pleasant and comes from the organic rosehip oil and organic sea buckthorn oil, it is very light and pleasing.  The texture of the serum is so smooth.  It is absorbed very quickly and leaves no residue.  It is recommended that you wait at least 5 minutes after applying the Serum before applying your foundation or other face makeup.

So, what does this serum do for you?  It evens skin tone and gives you a glow.  I have been using it for about two weeks and really noticed a difference.  In fact, I saw my doctor last week and she commented on how great I look and that my face was glowing.  That leads me to believe that it really works.  I mean I can see a difference, but I always wonder if it is just me, love it when someone else notices.

Valentia Even Glow Serum also smooths fine lines and wrinkles along with boosting collagen production.  You can get a 1.8 ounce on Amazon for $35 right now.  I also encourage you to checkout the other product reviews and the FAQ section for more information.
